Rhode Island State House 'Goes Green' for
A Golden Moment for Rhode Island Manufacturing, November 5, 2011
Blow Molded Specialties, The Cooley Group, Grafton ‘Cap’ Willey, and FarSounder, Inc. Honored as Recipients of the Prestigious 2011 Rhode Island Manufacturing Awards
RIMA was honored to continue the tradition of the annual gala, A Golden Moment for Rhode Island Manufacturing, showcasing the many success stories that local manufacturers have to tell, even in these difficult economic times. This year we created a spirit of intimacy by providing a cocktail reception in conjunction with Rhode Island Manufacturers Association's Awards Ceremony. Several hundred Rhode Islanders gathered at the State House on Saturday, November 5, 2011, to underscore that the manufacturing industry in Rhode Island can indeed succeed and flourish. The State House event was totally green because Constellation Energy, a RIMA partner, supplied Green-e energy certified renewable energy certificates (RECs) from wind energy facilities in the United States to match 100 percent of the electricity used at the event.
The Gala Committee recognized the following winners of their prestigious “2011 Rhode Island Manufacturers Association Awards”:
John Hazen White, Sr., Commitment to Manufacturing Award
The Cooley Group - Pawtucket, RI
Manufacturing Advocacy Award
Grafton ‘Cap’ Willey - CBIZ Tofias - Providence, RI

FarSounder, Inc. - Warwick, RI
